The project involves the installation of joints for pre-insulated piping systems designed for district heating networks across various construction projects throughout Germany.
Scope of Work
The work focuses in particular on:
- preparation of pipe joints
- installation of protective connecting sleeves
- ensuring correct insulation and sealing
These activities form the foundation for the proper functioning of the entire piping system.
Implementation Process
The installation itself takes place in several steps:
- inspection of the pipe at the joint location
- fitting and secure fastening of the sleeve
- application of insulating polyurethane foam between the pipe and the protective casing
This is followed by the closing and thorough sealing of all openings, ensuring protection of the joint against external influences.
